Panasonic GH1 Raw Samples
I don’t have many RAW samples from the GH1 – I only set the camera to RAW+JPEG for one day of owning it. However hidden amongst the RAW files I do have are these two high ISO RW2 files – one at ISO1600 and one at ISO3200. I’ve uploaded them to Rapidshare: lemon.soju.co.uk-GH1RAW.zip.
These images are copyright. For permission to use in magazines or other websites, send me a message via the comments – your message will not be published here.
If you are looking to buy a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1, click here
for the latest price and availability. Personally I recommend the G1 instead – it’s much cheaper
and better in my opinion.
Click here for my G1/GH1 index page (which contains links to other GH1 samples, including JPEG samples at high ISO).
I am an amateur photographer (only) who owns and uses DxO Optics Pro 6.12 (which provides DxO Optical Corrections Module support for the DMC-GH1).
I was wondering if you would grant me permission to try my hand at processing your two DMC-GH1 RW2 image-files at:
http://lemon.soju.co.uk/g1/panasonic-gh1-raw-samples/
and post the resulting JPG (at 1024×768) pixel-size on the Ricoh Camera forum (a friendly forum frequented by Ricoh camera owners and amateur photographers)?
None of any of these activities would involve the exchange of money in any way between any persons, whatsoever. I am quite impressed with what DxO Optics Pro 6.12 can do for my DMC-LX3 RW2 image-files, and I just would like to see what I can do with your DMC-GH1 RW2 image-files, and post them in a (relatively) low-resolution JPG format at the Ricoh Forum only.
Please reply to me at my email address.
Thank You,

Jeremy,
That’s fine. Let me know the link when you’re done so that I can see the results :)

Alan,
Thanks for your permission! A couple of DxO Optics Pro 6.12 processed crops of your DMC-GH1 ISO=1600 P1010542 RW2 image-file (converted to JPG) are posted at:

Jeremy … :)
For examples of DxO Optics Pro 6.12 processing of Panasonic DMC-LX3 RW2 image-files (along with a few comparisons as well with the Silkypix DS 3.021 SE that comes along with “raw” recording Panasonic cameras), see my posts on the following thread (with the most recent entries presently located at):

Nice processing there Jeremy! I will need to take a closer look at DxO Optics Pro!
