Suicide
I just found out one of the bloggers I used to read religiously about Korea committed Suicide in 2006. Yeah, it took me a long time to find out – but after he left Korea, I stopped reading his blog.
One of the reasons I stopped blogging about personal stuff is that people read your blog and think they know everything that is going on in your life. People who read Shawn’s blog had no idea of what the guy was really feeling behind the scenes, and Shawn’s suicide illustrates that.
I actually bought Shawn’s original book when I saw it on sale in a bookshop in Korea. He inspired many people with his blogging and humour.

Yaeba
A new search term suddenly became popular on my blog yesterday – Yaeba. I mentioned Yaeba before on my post “The blog for Japanese girls with bad teeth“. Why the term should suddenly become popular now, I don’t know.

A reasonably pleasant examlpe of Yaeba - it can get very bad

Up skirt Japanese
For some reason, through some quirk of words on a page, one of the most popular search terms for people finding my blog from google is “up skirt japanese”.
Seriously, the number of hits I get per day from surfers looking for photos up Japanese skirts…. Well until now I’ve not had a photo to satisfy you, but today I have:

Up skirt Japanese
Here we have a guy trying to take a photography up the skirt of someone Japanese at I party I went to recently.
What do you think? Is she sexy? Do you want to see her panties?
Well I have a surprise for you. The girl in the skirt is a guy, not a girl. He’s wearing the schoolgirl costume to a halloween party.
So now there really is no doubt that you’re a pervert. Not only were you searching for pornographic sexy pics up Japanese skirts, but you were just turned on by a bloke.
Stop touching yourself.

What if your goverment took away all your money except 40 bucks?
Things are really hotting up in North Korea. On November 30th the government introduced a new currency and announced the maximum any citizen could convert from the old currency was the equivalent of 40 USD. It has not, it seems, gone down well.
Could this be the start of a real public uprising?
