Flickr speed drove me crazy

Despite having 7 months left on my Flickr Pro subscription, I can stand the speed no longer. Unlimited my foot – it just can’t handle the number of photos I have uploaded there.

I’ve signed up for a Zenfolio account and it’s like a breath of fresh air. No sets and collections rubbish – everything is stored in a folder structure like on my PC – and it’s fast.

Read more about why I switched here – or get a free 14-day trial account and $5 discount by clicking here and using my referral code DE6-43F-DJY.

Disclaimer: I get $5 kickback also if you use my referral code, but that’s not why I’m recommending Zenfolio. It can handle unlimited photos. Flickr can’t. It works. It’s fast. That’s why I’m recommending it. And you get a $5 discount too.

Have you had any contact with Getty via Flickr? That strikes me as the big advantage. Is anyone working with Zenfolio?

It is largely irrelevant to me who flickr has a partnership with if I can’t get access to my own photos. What would the point be of owning a luxury car if the accelerator didn’t work and no-one can fix it?

The service has become too slow to be useable for me. Flickr are “investigating” the issue but that started weeks ago and no update.

I am glad the service has plus points for you though.
