iTunes is free, but I think iPhoto is part of iLife - which probably means you need to buy iLife 08 to upgrade. My Mac is new so it came with iLife 08.

To be honest, I used the plugin once and then found out it doesn't really do what I want - it cannot (or couldnt when I downloaded it) create sets from album names (no plugin for iPhoto can0. Hence I have not played with it much. I started looking at writing Perl to do the upload but got sidetracked.

Thanks for finding that Alan. I'm always keen on free software.

I've finally got it to work this evening.
The first three times I tried it last, it crashed iPhoto.
The biggest problem at the moment is that it I need to upgrade to iPhoto 8 to get the feature to export only a limited size.

I really do not want to upload 3 Mb files for each photo.
I forgot to add any descriptions to the text in iPhoto, does it add that as the description in flickr?
Does it extract any tags you've added as well?
These will be the next things to try. Oh and how do I upgrade to iPhoto 8? I thought the mac did all that for you automatically ?
